Sovereign Construction Services, LLC is proud to announce that we have been named winner in three categories in the National Association of the Remodeling Industry’s (NARI) 2019 Contractor of the Year (CotY) awards. Annually, NARI recognizes contractors in 48 categories of construction projects completed in the preceding 10-month period. Sovereign Construction entered three projects and was recognized in all three as follows: CotY Winner: Residential Bath Under $25,000; CotY Winner: Residential Exterior Under $50,000; Meritorious Award: Residential Interior Under $100,000.
Sovereign Construction Services was pleased to be able to support several Montgomery County youths through our participation in the 2022 4-H Market Animal Sale. These incredible young people learn so much about their animal projects as well as life skills through 4-H programs! All sale proceeds go directly to the kids and help offset project costs for their current year, as well as new projects for the coming year.
Recent Project
Great Room & Kitchen Renovation
This project involved a complete renovation of a dated kitchen and great room, replacement of exterior doors, flooring throughout with a combination of hardwood and carpet, and a fresh coat of paint to update the look, increase storage space, and generally modernize. All these aspects were instrumental in transforming a tired worn space in to a bright…welcoming retreat. Some of the materials utilized were Therma-Tru and Larson doors, Wellborn Select series cabinetry, New Caledonia granite countertops, Refined Merpauh hardwood flooring, Blanco silgranite farm sink, Moen faucet, and Sherwin Williams paints.
This project won a NARI COTY Award for Best Residential Interior Under $100,000
Doghouses for a Good Cause! 🐾 We were pleased to compete in the Bucks-Mont NARI doghouse building competition held at Tague Lumber, Doylestown. Doghouses were donated to well deserving dogs through the Bucks County SPCA. We had a blast and want to thank everyone who helped make the event possible!
Helping my friends and a community in the Dominican Republic
I was blessed to be able to join a team of local folks from Fairview Village Church and also work alongside the Work & Witness Dominican Republic team, as we worked to advance towards completion of the expansion of a Child Development Center in Nagua, Dominican Republic. Work included wall stucco, preparation for painting, floor tile & grout, electrical wiring, plumbing rough-in for two bathrooms, concrete pad for a water tank, and installation of the water tank. We were also able to visit with some folks in the community, help with kids programs and attend services. To wrap up the week we had a tour of a cocoa plantation, Kah Kow, where we had a guided tour through the cocoa field, and learned about the entire process, from seedling, through harvest and processing and then finishing into chocolate.
